The DigiBankr is an Electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) and Digital Customer Onboarding platform that allows a new customer to go online from a computer, tablet or smartphone to open a new account anywhere, anytime.
Kina Bank PNG Chief Executive Officer Roppe Uyassi said the launching of DigiBankr further reinforces Kina Bank’s vision to be the leading digital bank in PNG.

The new platform also provides a fast, secured and convenient way to open a Kina Bank Savings Account as well as the account opening process is done real time whereby customers can upload their two forms of identifications, their signature, and complete a face ‘liveness’ check to receive their account details upon successful completion of the process, customers do not need to visit a branch by avoiding queues, and they can open an account anywhere, anytime.
There are also no fees and charges for customers using DigiBankr.
