Kina Bank’s Wewak Branch Team, accompanied by their family members, came together on recently to participate in a community clean-up initiative along the Wewak Beach Seawall.

The clean-up exercise covered the area from the Mobil Junction seawall through to the frontage of the Guard Dog base, with participants dedicating their Saturday morning to helping keep one of Wewak’s most visited public spaces clean and welcoming.

The clean-up initiative reflects Kina Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates and promoting environmental responsibility.

Wewak Branch Manager Anna Wosley said the initiative was a meaningful way for the branch team to give back to the community.

“At Kina Bank, we recognise that being part of a community means contributing beyond our day-to-day roles. The Wewak beachfront is a place enjoyed by families, visitors and residents alike, and we wanted to do our part in helping keep it clean and enjoyable for everyone.”

Ms. Wosley added that the clean-up not only contributed to a cleaner environment but also strengthened connections among team members and reinforced the Bank’s commitment to community engagement.

Kina Bank Wewak Branch looks forward to undertaking more community-focused activities as part of its commitment to creating a positive impact where its people live and work.
