The Kina Bank Koble Women Volleyball team have once again proven their dominance, successfully defending their title in the Port Moresby Corporate Volleyball Competition on Sunday 03rd August 2025.

Led by Captain Juliet Daton-Oala, the women’s premier team triumphed over the National Capital District Commission (NCDC), securing their third consecutive championship in the women’s premier division.

Competing among 18 corporate teams in the premier division, the Koble women maintained their top position throughout the season. Their road to victory saw them defeat Internal Revenue Commission (IRC) Team 1 in the quarterfinals, overcome BSP in the semifinals, and ultimately outplay NCDC in the grand final.

Reflecting on the win, Daton-Oala said, “It was an incredible game and the performance from the team was nothing short of outstanding. We had an amazing display of teamwork, skill, and determination and it was clear that every player brought their best to the court where it mattered the most.”

“This three-peat is a huge achievement, and it truly speaks to the hard work and dedication that everyone on the team has put in throughout the season. Together it’s possible – and our success this year is a reflection of the unity and strength we’ve built over time,” she concluded.

The team made their debut in 2019 as Kina Bank Vulcans and returned to the competition in 2023 after the COVID-19 pandemic break, in 2025 the team name evolved into Team Koble. Since their return, they have remained undefeated, claiming the championship title in all three seasons. They continue to reign as both minor premiers and overall champions.
