KSi Daily Report: Tuesday, 14 November 2017
For a consecutive session both stock indices were unchanged on Tuesday’s POMSOX trading session. The Kina Securities main index KSi was flat at 5,289.15 points followed by Kina Securities Home Index KSHi was maintained at 11,037.68 points.
Financial stocks Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) were both evened out at K9.50 and K1.78 respectively.
BSP Unsecured note (BSPHA) also closed unchanged at K25, 000.00.
The day’s trading recorded a total volume of 61,091 shares worth K492, 079.00.
In overseas news, U.S stocks closed marginally higher after the Dow posted their first weekly drops in two months. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 17.49 points or 0.07% to close at 23,439.70 points. Japan’s Nikkei share average edged up in choppy trade, up 0.98 points to finish at 22,380.01 points. In Australian share markets, the S&P/ASX 200 index immediately dropped below 6000 points, the worst day in in approaching two months. The index lost 49 points to close at 6,049 points.
