KSi Daily Report: Monday, 27 March 2017

Monday’s POMSOX trading session opened unchanged as both stock indices were maintained. The Kina Securities main index KSi was steady at 5,488.33 points and similarly the Kina Securities Home Index KSHi was 10,980.45 points.
Financial stocks Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) were both evened out at K9.31 and K1.95 respectively.
Oil Search Ltd (OSH) was maintained at K18.01 at the close.
There was a total of 3,154 shares traded at a worth of K39,993.24.
U.S markets declined as the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 152.00 points or 0.74% at 20,423.00 points. Japan’s Nikkei share average wallowed at a six-week low and deepening last week’s loss on pressure from a resurgent yen. The Nikkei skidded 274.94 points or 1.44% to 18,985.59 points. The Australian stock market declined following mixed cues from Wall Street as the benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 lost 27.80 points or 0.48% at 5,725.70 points.
