Dual-listed mining stock Newcrest Mining Ltd (NCM) slipped by K3.80 to end lower at K46.20.
Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Kina Asset Management Ltd (KAM) were both evened out at K9.51 and 96toea flat respectively.
Followed closely by Oil Search Ltd (OSH) which maintained at K18.00.
The day’s trading recorded 5,068 units tradable at the value of K44,362.02.
U.S shares finished higher closing at new records following a stronger-than-expected employment report and ahead of the French presidential election. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 55.47 points or 0.26% to 21,006.94 points. Japanese shares hit levels not seen in more than 17 months in heavy trade as the yen stayed weak as the Nikkei share average soared 450.00 points or 2.31% to 19,895.70 points. The Australian stock market advanced for the first time in five days tracking gains on Wall Street following the release of better than expected U.S jobs data and on higher crude oil prices. S&P/ASX 200 benchmark index rose 41.70 points or 0.71% to 5,878.30 points.
