Both stock indices edged higher on Friday’s POMSOX trading session. The Kina Securities main index KSi was up by a mere 0.96 points or 0.02% at 5,491.00 points and likewise the Kina Securities Home Index was advanced 39.40 points or 0.36% to 11,069.10 points.
Kina Securities Ltd (KSL) was closed 10toea higher to end at K2.60.
Other stocks unchanged were Bank South Pacific and Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) at K9.40 and K1.95 flat respectively.
City Pharmacy Ltd was also unchanged at K1.00.
A total of 12,372 shares were recorded valued K27,946.00.
U.S stocks closed higher as financial shares rallied following a positive reading of economic growth to finish in territory after a month-long wait. The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished up 69.17 points or 0.3% at 20,728.49 points. Japanese stocks rose as upbeat industrial production data and a weak yen supported sentiment as the Nikkei share average gained 153.96 points or 0.81% to 18,909.26 points.
