KSi Daily Report: Friday, 21 July 2017

Friday’s trading saw Kina Securities stock indices close on weaker note amid a quiet trading session on POMSOX. The main index or the KSi was down by 1.07 points or 0.02% at 4,992.03 points, but the home index, KSHi remained unchanged at 11,156.28 points.
One stock lost with no other movements today.
The only stock that was sold down was Oil Search Ltd (OSH) at K17.01, retreating a toea.
Meanwhile, Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) was flat at K1.78.
Today’s POMSOX session saw a total of 58,896 shares traded at a value of K127,830.28.
U.S. stocks finished mostly lower in overnight trading as Home Depot weighed on The Dow Jones Industrial Average. The DJIA shed 28.97 points, or 0.1%, to end at 21,611.78 points. Japan’s Nikkei share average edged down on Friday as investors took profits on steelmakers, offsetting gains in Yaskawa Electric and other machinery makers. The Nikkei ended down 0.2 percent at 20,099.75 points. For the week, the benchmark index dipped 0.1 percent. Likewise, The ASX 200 index ended the session down 0.7% at 5,722.8 points down a similar proportion over the five trading days amid Bank stocks losing steam today while investors booked profits after two days of strong gains, weighing on the overall market.
