KSi Daily Report: Friday, 10 February 2017
Friday’s trading session closed flat as both stock indices remained unchanged. The Kina Securities main index KSi was unmoved at 4,816.73 points and similarly the Kina Securities Home Index KSHi was maintained at 10,675.09 points.
Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) closed flat at K9.01 followed by mining giant, Newcrest Mining Ltd (NCM) at K46.00.
Today’s session recorded a 619 shares worth K7,828.00.
In markets abroad, U.S stocks finished higher with major indexes all notching the latest in a series of record closed. The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished up 118.06 points or 0.6% at 20,172.40 points. Japan’s Nikkei share average soared following Wall Street’s lead after a major tax announcement by Trump in a few weeks. The Nikkei surged 471.26 points or 2.49% to 19,378.93 points. The Australian stock market advanced on Friday following overnight gains on Wall Street. The S&P/ASX 200 benchmark index advanced 45.20 points or 0.80% to 5,709.80 points.
