Both Kina Securities Indices remained unchanged after POMSOX trading session closed Wednesday. The Main index KSi closed steady at 3,468.67 points while the Home index KSHi ended at 9,668.84 points unchanged.
Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) and Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) were the only stocks traded today, as both financials completed K2.40 and K7.44 respectively.
A total of 1,749 units transacted today worth K7,972.56.
In off-shore markets, U.S. stocks ended modestly lower in overnight trading, ahead of a series of earnings reports. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slumped 49.97 points or0.3%, to close at 17,081.89 points. Japanese stocks fell in Wednesday trade, weighed down by uncertainty over the prospects for China’s slowing economy. The Nikkei share average dropped 343.74 points or 1.89% to 17,891.00 points. The Australian Share market followed the downward trend dragged down by falling commodity prices. At the close, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was 5.60 points 0.11%, lower at 5,197.30 points.
