Both Kina Securities Indices remained on the same note as yesterday closing flat for the second consecutive session. The main index stayed at 3,555.18 points similarly the home index of KSHI ended at 9,758.40 points unchanged.
Only two stocks traded flat with no other movement.
Bank South Pacific (BSP) remained at K7.44 with Oil Search Ltd (OSH) closed at K16.00 even.
Thursday’s trading recorded a small volume of 393 units valued at K3,993.92.
In overseas, U.S. stocks ended lower in overnight trading after two consecutive sessions of gains, as Greece and its creditors made little progress in negotiating a debt deal which would avert a default. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 178 points, or 1%, to 17,996.07 points. Similarly, Japan’s Nikkei share average edged 96.63 points or 0.46% lower on Thursday. The Australian share market followed the downward trend with the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index down 40.60 points or 0.71% at 5,646.20 points.
