KSi Daily Report: Monday, 30 December, 2013

POMSoX trading was modest on Monday opening the week in stable performance. The Kina Securities main index, the KSi, was unchanged at 3,871.54 points and similarly the Home index or the KSHi was also flat at 8,174.22 points.

There were no trades record for the third consecutive session today.

U.S. stocks on Friday was flat the DJIA index recorded a decline of about 2 points at 16,478.41. Japan’s Nikkei share average gained 112.37 points or 0.69% at 16,291.31 points and is set to close the year up more than 55 per cent to mark its biggest annual gain. Australian stocks rose on Monday strengthened by mining shares with firmer commodity prices. The S&P/ASX200 index was up 32.74 points, or 0.61% to 5,356.80 points today.
