On Monday, Asian stocks fell after China’s economic growth slowed in the fourth quarter as reported. Japan’s Nikkei share average slipped to a one-week low as investors avoided taking risks on the weak yen. The Nikkei ended 0.6 percent lower at 15,641.68. The Australian sharemarket also closed almost flat with S&P/ASX 200 falling 10.82 points, 0.20% ending at 5,295.05weigh down by mining stocks.
