Oil Search Ltd (OSH) slipped by 24toea, ending lower at K17.61. It was the only stock traded today, registering 508 shares worth K8,945.88.
In overseas market news, U.S stocks closed higher in overnight trading on a stronger-than-expected February jobs report as the DJIA advanced 44.79 points or 0.3% to close at 2,372.60 points. Japan’s Nikkei share average edged up on Monday to brush an 11-day as the yen remained on the defensive, gaining 25.40 points or 0.13% to 19,630.01 points. The Australian stock market declined despite modest gains on Wall Street as the benchmark S&P/SX 200 lost 28.90 points or 0.50% to 5,746.70 points.
