The two financials, Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP), were transacted at K7.13 and K2.60 even respectively. Total volume is 76,746 units valued at K34,266.06.
U.S stock market ended a volatile week on a down note on Friday, despite slides in December’s jobs report, offset by drop in wages and slumping oil prices. The Dow Jones Industrial Average retreated 170.50 points or 0.95% to 17,737.37 points. Japan’s Nikkei share average rose for a third day Monday on growing optimism on confidence in the improving U. S economy. The Index climbed 31 points or 0.18% to 17,198 points. However, Australian shares fell today as investors sold down resources sectors following continued falling oil and iron ore price. The S&P/ASX 200 shed 42.87 points or 0.78% 5,422.70 points.
