Both Kina Securities Indices remained on the same note as yesterday, closed unchanged despite active POMSoX trading session. The main index KSi was steady at 3,458.69 points while the Kina Securities Home Index or KSHi ended at 9,736.08 points flat.
All five stocks traded today ended flat.
Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) led at K7.42 with Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) closing at K2.50. Oil Search Ltd (OSH) ended steady at K15.00 while Marengo Mining Ltd (MMC) evened out at 3toea.
The day’s trading recorded a total of 1,188,846 units with a monetary value of K7,486,118.92.
U.S stocks finished higher in overnight trading reaching a new closing high as the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 70.08 points or 0.39% to 18,120.25 points. Similarly, Japanese stocks extended their rise into a fifth day with strength from Wall Street. The Nikkei share average climbed 16.89 points or 0.80% to 2,124.29 points. Australian shares traded higher as a rally in big banks helped the ASX remained above the flat line. The S&P/ASX 200 added 0.50 points to end 5,670.10 points today.
