KSi Daily Report: Friday, 15 May 2015

Both Kina Securities Indices were unchanged amid a quiet trading on POMSOX. The main index KSi was steady at 3,606.59 points and likewise the home index or KSHi was unmoved at 9,763.13 points at the close.

There were only two stocks traded but all remained flat today.

For Friday’s session, Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) both traded steady at K7.41 and K2.55 even respectively.

The day’s trading recorded a light volume of 333 shares at a value of K1,461.51.

U.S stocks ended higher on Thursday with the rally for stocks comes as U.S economic reports offered. The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 191.75 points or 1.06% to 18,252.24 points. Japanese stocks rebounded on Friday after Wall Street surged on receding worries about a U.S interest rate hike. The Nikkei share average rose 155.41 points or 0.79% to 19,725.65 points. Australian shares rose to their highest in over a week with gains from major miners and mixed performance in the banking sector. The benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 collected 24.63 points or 0.43% to 5,721.20 points.
