Both Kina Securities indices remained unchanged on moderate trading after POMSoX closed for the last trading day of the week. The main index, the KSi was unchanged at 3,682.67 points. Likewise, the Kina Securities Home index, the KSHi closed flat at 7,919.76 points.

There was no stock that moved during the session.

City Pharmacy Ltd (CPL) traded at K1.82 unchanged followed by the financial stocks Kina Asset management Ltd (KAM) even at K1.07 and Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) at K7.40 flat .

The day’s trading session recorded a trading volume of 45,404 shares with a monetary value of K320,742.76.

In off shore markets, The U.S. stock market fell overnight, as a spike in oil prices and softer-than-expected economic data dented sentiment on Wall Street. The Dow Jones Industrial Average built on Previous losses and finished 109.69 points, or 0.7%, lower at 16,734.19 points. Likewise, Japan’s Nikkei share average reversed earlier loses Friday, adding 124.31 points or 0.83% at 15,097.84 points amid soaring oil shares on rising oil prices with as fears for Iraq escalated. Meanwhile, The Australian the S&P/ASX 200 fell to a two-month low by 22.70 points or 0.42% at 5,406.10 points by close of market today as escalating violence in Iraq shakes investors.
