KSi Daily Report: Friday, 12 June 2015

The Kina Stock indices remained flat after POMSOX trading ended on Friday. The Kina Securities main index KSi stayed at 3,556.24 points, similarly the Home index KSHi maintained at 9,791.72 points.

All four stocks traded for the session closed unmoved.

Financial holding South Pacific Ltd (BSP) and Credit Corporation Ltd (CCP) led the unchanged at K7.44 and K2.55 even respectively. Kina Asset Management Ltd (KAM) followed at K1.00 while Oil Search Ltd (OSH) ended even at K16.00.

The day’s trading recorded a total of 69,610 shares valued at K276,079.67.

Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 38.97 points or 0.22% to 18,039.37 points as U.S stocks advanced on Thursday, adding to strong gains made a day earlier, as retails sales provided more evidence of a strengthening economy.. Japanese stocks were choppy in early trades as investors were cautious after Greece debt talks. The Nikkei share average fell 2.66 points to 20,380.31 points. The S&P/ASX 200 benchmark index declined 14.55 points or 0.26% to 5,542.10 points despite positive results from all sectors on energy gains in the Australian share market.
