POMSoX stock closed quiet on the week with only one trade completed on Friday. The Kina Securities main index, the KSi, gained 0.88points or 0.02% at 3,872.39. Meanwhile the home index, KSHi, was unchanged

Oil Search Ltd (OSH) traded at K17.52, up 1 toea at the close. In ASX, the dual-listed stock declined 2 cents to $8.13 at the close.

A total trading volume of 266 shares was done worth of K4,660.32.

U.S. stock indexes ended lower in overnight trading , with the telecommunications sector posting particularly steep losses. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 17.98 points, or 0.11% at 16,444.76 points. Asian stock markets traded mostly lower on Friday on disappointing in Chinese exports in December. Japan’s Nikkei benchmark gained a slight 31.73 points to 15,912.06 ahead of the release of the U.S. jobs report Friday. In Australia, the sharemarket fell slightly today on weak resources sector due to decline in China’s iron-ore imports hitting an eight-month low.. The S&P/ASX 200 closed down 12.00 points or 0.23% to 5,312.40.
