Both Kina Securities stock indices remained unchanged amid a quiet trading session. The Kina Securities stock indices KSi maintained at 3,362.83 points and likewise the Kina Securities Home Index or KSHi remained at 9,116.96 points.

There were only two stocks traded today, both ended flat today.

Home listed leading banking and financial stock Bank South Pacific Ltd (BSP) closed at K7.49 while dual-listed oil and gas company evened out at K14.20.

Today’s POMSOX session registered a light volume of 1,612 units executed worth K16,099.88.

U.S stocks rallied Tuesday as investors scooped up bank and technology stocks, highlighting a renewed appetite for assets considered risky as oil stormed higher. Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 348.58 points or 2.11% to 16,865.08 points. Japanese stocks surged to more than three-week highs on Wednesday with Wall Street’s strongest session in a month. The Nikkei share average advanced 661.04 points or 4.11% to 16,746.55 points. The Australian share market bounced back above 5,000 points, driven by the big four banks and energy companies. Benchmark index S&P/ASX 200 rose 98.98 points or 2.01% to 5,021.23 points.
